Born in India, raised in West Virginia and now living in Toronto, I’m a fairly recent transplant to this incredible city. I can’t properly make my favorite food (dosas – rice flour crepes) so it’s great that I live in a place where someone (Udupi Palace Restaurant) can make it almost like my grandmother does. My favorite drink has to be a cognac Sazerac, not only is it easy to make (a key!), it’s even easier to drink. I like to spend my days off reading arcane and sometimes questionable accounts of ancient history and making a mess in my kitchen and maybe some food in the process.
