Ashtin is a food and beverage activist and founder of Dark and Stirred a not for profit focused on social justice education and creating equity with the hospitality industry. Ashtin had the pleasure of being raised all over the country, but she calls Chicago home where she grew up on the Southside and later attended University of Chicago. Her hospitality career has been diverse making her a well-versed chameleon. She just recently finished up a consultant project as the Beverage Director of Tokyo Record Bar in NYC names one of the best openings of 2017.
